Art IV is a painting course focusing on color theory and acrylic and oil painting techniques.  Students will learn color mixing and time managment through the Impressionist Squares project, blending and value through the black and white oil painting portrait, or further their knowledge of color theory by attempting a portrait in color. Students will gain practice abstracting images with the reflections project, and the landscape project helps students with texture and techniques.
